Venice-based graphic designer and muralist Bisco Smith will be showing a series of new works at C.A.V.E. Gallery starting July 30th with an opening reception.
For the past two years, Smith has been working from and managing WNDO Space, another independent gallery over on Sunset Avenue, which shares the same warehouse with Jim Budman Studio.
His show at C.A.V.E. (Center for Audio and Visual Expression) is called "Process," an assemblage of "magic in the scraps."
"Over the last few months I have been working on new pieces as well as taking the left overs, scraps, and elements from my studio that have always held my interest and working them into this exhibition," Smith said. "The overall idea is to highlight the process and the unplanned energy that is captured while working towards an end goal. Below are a few selects from the collection of completed works. The rest is still in process and will remain to be seen until the opening this Saturday."
Exhibition Dates: July 30 - August 29, 2016
